I’m a writer and director. My short films have played at the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the New Jersey Film Festival and Slamdance Online, among others. My music videos have been featured on Pitchfork, The Fader, Juxtapose and Stereogum. In 2013, I founded Gold Front, a San Francisco-based creative studio that houses commercial and art projects under one roof. As a commercial director I have created films for Nike, Uber, Dolby and Jawbone.

I grew up in Michigan and studied film at Michigan State University. I made my first movie with Scott Hughes’ Dad’s home Betamax camera in 1981. We called it Magnum P.U.
